The location was great, accommodation and food excellent. Onthe whole staff very helpful
My only complaint was the location of the rooms. My parents are 80 and 80plus and did find it rather exhausting having to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to their room. A lift would have made life a lot easier!!!

The hotel faced the sea, and was in the main town, but was very quiet, little traffic noise. The breakfast was tasty as were dinners. We ate in several local restaurants nearby-high standard of cuisine. The car park opposite holds about 20+ cars. The hotel was well managed and had an older world feel.

Beachfront location, fine garden spaces, variety of lounge areas
Inconsistent room quality could use addressing!!! WiFi connectivity issues seem frustrating needing reliable access!!!

This hotel was ideally positioned with wonderful views across the beaches at Aldeborough. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful and the room very comfortable with even a small sitting room attached. There was easy access to Aldeborough Golf Club and Thorpness is not too far away. We would definitly have no hesitation is recommending the restaurant, having taken two evening meals there. We shall definitely return to this hotel when we are in this area again.
Beware of the evidence of seagulls if using the car park!

excellent proximity to beach and charming local eateries
I was thrilled to find the beach just a short stroll away, making it perfect for afternoon walks along the shore, and I especially enjoyed popping into nearby Delphine's Diner for a delicious meal after exploring the Aldeburgh Museum, less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

The location was lovely - very close to the sea. It was clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. the bathroom was lovely - very large.
There was no lift and we were on the 2nd floor and my husband is very ill. The breakfast was poor - only 1/2 a mushroom and 1/2 a tomato at breakfast.
